Dress Code

All dress standards whether stated or not are at the interpretation of the school staff.

If there is any question as to whether an article of clothing meets the requirements, it should be taken to the office for approval BEFORE it is worn.

General Requirements:

  • Students must arrive at school AND leave school in their uniforms.

  • Clothing must be clean and neat at all times, without holes, missing buttons, broken zippers, fraying, tears, or excessive fading or wear.

  • Clothing should fit correctly and modestly - not too tight or too loose, too short or too long.

  • Shirts and blouses must be tucked in and long enough to stay tucked in when arms are raised to shoulder level. Only the top button may be left unbuttoned.

  • Hair must be a natural color; no extreme hairstyles or facial hair are allowed.

  • Minimal jewelry is allowed. (See policy manual for details.)

Daily Dress Code:

  • Red or white logo polo shirt OR white, button-down shirt

  • Black skirt, jumper, or uniform pants

  • Black belt (if skirt or pants have belt loops) - Kindergarten students are exempt from belts

  • White or black socks

  • Black casual shoes (no athletic shoes)

P.E. Dress Code:

Grades K-3:

  • Shorts under skirts

  • Tennis shoes

Grades 4-12:

  • Gray T-shirt with no writing OR any of the school spirit T-shirts OR field trip T-shirt

  • Loose-fitting black athletic pants OR basketball shorts

  • Socks

  • Athletic shoes

Special Days Dress Code:

Field Trips: Required field trip T-shirt; pants/skirts/long shorts and shoes as appropriate for the event

Dress-Down Days: Modest clothing of students' choice, consistent with general requirements; no profanity or country/rock music references; leggings cannot be worn as pants

Extracurricular Events Dress Code:

All standards of dress must be maintained for ANY school-sponsored events.
