Tuition and Fees

Cedars of Lebanon Academy meets its financial responsibilities through the financial commitment of its families and personal donations. We receive no subsidies from other sources. Therefore, our program is dependent on the timely fulfillment of each family's financial commitment.

Registration Fee

An annual registration fee of $70 is to be paid for each returning student at the time of registration in the spring semester. This registration fee is applied to the first month's tuition of the following year.

The registration fee for new students is due upon acceptance to COLA. This fee is applied to the first month's tuition of the year for which application is made.

Registration fees are non-refundable except in the event the school denies acceptance to the student.

Tuition

The annual tuition is $2000 per student. This fee covers the cost of books as well as classroom instruction.

Tuition can be paid annually or on a monthly basis. If paid monthly, payments are spread across 10 months, with the first payment due on August 1 and subsequent payments due on the first of each month. Tuition can be paid by cash, check, or PayPal. A 3% fee will be charged for PayPal payments.

A Large Family Discount will be applied to a family's tuition balance, based on the number of students enrolled. Large Family Discounts are as follows:

  • 3 students - 8% discount

  • 4+ students - 15% discount

Tuition Assistance

Limited financial aid is available for families in need through a PTO Scholarship Fund. The maximum amount of tuition assistance a family may qualify for is 50%.

Tuition assistance can only be granted when finances are available in the Scholarship Fund. The school receives no subsidies or grants towards this program. Those receiving tuition assistance are supported by donations and the financial commitments of school families. Therefore, scholarship allotments are determined by a board of parents in good financial standing.

Families who receive tuition assistance are not automatically granted assistance for following school years. Families who have need must renew their application each year.

Conditions for receiving tuition assistance: Families must demonstrate financial hardship through an anonymous application process. Families receiving tuition assistance will be required to serve in volunteer capacities at least forty hours during the school year for which they receive assistance. Student(s) must remain in good academic and behavioral standing according to COLA guidelines as set forth in the policy manual.

Withdrawal of funding: If it is deemed necessary due to academic or disciplinary isues, there will be a reevaluation process to determine if funds should be withdrawn. This process shall include, but is not limited to, two parental conferences to discuss the issue, and deadline for resolution followed by an immediate withdrawal of funds if the issue remains unresolved.

Transportation Fees

COLA provides transportation to central locations both in the valley and on the mountain. Students may be picked up anywhere between school and the designated meeting point.

Transportation fees are based on the number of children per family and the pick-up location. The base price is $40/month for 1 student in the immediate school locale, with an added cost for multiple family members and/or a farther pick-up location.

The valley meeting point is Fairview Community Center on Hwy. 56.

The mountain meeting point is L&L Market at the crossroad of Hwy. 56 and Hwy. 108

Miscellaneous Financial Obligations

School Uniforms:

Student uniforms are the expense of each family. We do maintain a store of used clothing in good condition that has been turned in. This clothing is redistributed free of charge, but if we do not have the articles a student needs, the family is responsible to purchase approved uniforms as noted in the dress code.

Technology:

Students are required to have a personal Chromebook and headphones or earbuds (no Bluetooth). COLA has a limited number of Chromebooks that can be rented for a nominal fee. Damage to school-owned Chromebooks will result in an additional fee for repair or replacement.

Field Trips:

Several field trips are scheduled for the students each year. Families are responsible to pay all fees associated with the event, as well as share the cost of bus transportation to the event.

Snack and Lunch:

Snack and lunch are not provided by COLA. We have snacks and drinks that can be purchased, but families are expected to send their students' lunches. Microwaves are available for student use.

School Supplies:

School supply lists are updated before the start of each school year. In addition, we keep some supplies available for students to purchase at cost as needed throughout the year.
